A successful and productive second meeting of the TiPA Consortium team took place over the 9th and 10th March 2017, hosted by project partner, the Center for Wind Power Drives, RWTH Aachen University in Germany. On the first day, the Work Package leads each gave status updates on the progress being made with their Tasks and Deliverables, which was followed by the Interim Design Review to present, discuss and baseline the PTO system specification, design architecture and test plans, and to outline the next steps of the design phase to the Final Design Review. A project General Assembly meeting was held on the second day, at which the governance and formal status of the consortium project was reviewed and discussed.
